Shrimp and mushroom pasta
Ingredients
500g prawns, shelled
250g sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned, rinsed and drained)
2 tablespoons butter (or olive oil)
1 shallot, peeled and finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
½ cup | 125 ml stock (vegetable or chicken)
1 cup | 250ml | 250 g liquid cream (I used 1½ cups | 375 ml to have more sauce)
½ to 1 cup | 50 g to 100 g grated Parmesan (or other cheese of your choice, Gruyère for example)
½ teaspoon of paprika
1 tablespoon of aromatic herbs to taste (herbes de Provence, parsley, thyme, etc.)
Salt, pepper from the mill according to your taste
250g | ½ pound pasta of your choice (I used tagliatelle)
