One Skillet Cabbage Roll Casserole With Beef
Ingredients
½ large, grated cabbage
1 lb ground beef
½ cup uncooked rice
½ large white onion, chopped
15 oz tomato sauce
15 oz beef broth
2 tsp chopped garlic
Salt/pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat to 350 degrees.
Browning beef in a skillet on medium-high heat. Just before removing the beef from the skillet, add the garlic to the beef. Drain the beef.
Step 2:
In a large bowl, combine the sauce, cabbage, onion, salt, pepper, and rice. Stir the beef into the cabbage mixture.
Step 3:
Start superimposing your cabbage, beef mixture, and. cheese in a 9x9 pot.
Cover the pan and dish with aluminum foil. Bake at 350ºF for 1 hour.
Step 4:
After one hour, remove the pan. Stir and cover with aluminum foil before putting it back in the oven.
Let the dish cook again for 15-30 minutes. The rice should be done and the cabbage soft when the dish if cooking is finished.
